Oh The Henry!
LA’s New Any-time-of-day eatery, will make you want to shout about it
Even if you don’t remember the old candy bar commercials proclaiming the glory of Henry, you will definitely find a visit to the LA restaurant, The Henry, a memorable experience.
Food, service and ambiance are exceedingly inviting, and a menu where you can’t go wrong no matter what you order, drinks included. Even if you don’t care for mezcal, like me, you might find yourself pleasantly pleased with the Mexcal Sour or the delightful French Paloma. Or the Berry Mimosa or a Bloody Mary from the Bloody Mary Cart. In fact, with the extensive and inventive cocktail list, you could drink here all day.
And since you are sure to love it a lot, you can come early and leave late. Start with an incredible breakfast, like the Ranchero Bowl, enjoy some snacking on the avocado hummus. Build up to the lunch entree of Short Rib Past of handmade tagliatelle, spinach, horseradish and creamy parmesan, or the Poke Bowl of sushi grade tuna, avocado, sticky rice, roasted shiitake and ponzu. Then finish off with a dinner of Prime NY Strip, or go budget but great with the Wagu Dinner Burger. If you are so inclined, they also offer gluten free and vegetarian options.
The only thing better than the tall drink of water that was our waiter was our tall drinks of anything at this new favorite anytime eatery.
